PSDFH: A Phase-Space-Based Depth from Hologram Extraction Method

Object pre-localization from computer-generated holograms is still an open problem in the current state of art. In this work, we propose use hologram phase space representation to determine a set regions interest where searched object can be located. The extracted used pre-locate 3D and are further refined produce more accurate depth estimate. An iterative refinement method proposed for 1D extended parsimonious version 2D holograms. A series experiments conducted assess quality sparse estimate produced by method. Experimental results show that it possible pre-localize thus improve calculation time reducing number operations numerical reconstructions necessary application s (DFF) methods. Using methodology, DFF reduced half, accuracy increased factor three.
